ABOUT THE BOOK: In the basement of the house that Lee and his family just moved into, a hand grabs the back of Lee's calf. You will learn why Lee's seventh-grade teacher, Miss Finch, refuses to call Lee by his first name. Grandma Pearl also plays a vital role in Lee Spencer's life. She is full of ancient remedies and superstitions.

Lee and his friends beat death on more than one occasion, while others close to Lee aren't so lucky. Lee Spencer finds out what the saying 'They Come in Threes' means. Everyone wants to know what's in the mysterious envelope left inside Lee's guitar case. Does Lee open the envelope or not? No twelve-year-old boy should have to live through what Lee Spencer goes through. Have we heard the last from Alice?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Growing up in a haunted house is why Al Cooley made a

documentary in 1998. Ghosts In The Valley is a collection of six

ghost stories from northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

In 2019, Al started his podcast, Ghosts In The Valley, using the

same name.

On October 1, 2024, A.L. Cooley released his first book,

Spencer's Ghosts. A book based on true adventures in and outside of

his haunted house.

Al married his high school sweetheart, Emilia in 1977. They

have two children and two granddaughters.
